The Snow Creature (1954) REVIEW

This is Another Movie that i found in Mill Creek's "Sci-Fi Classics" (50 Movie pack).

PLOT:
The Movie Begins With Two Scientists, They Are In The Himalayas Searching For some Plant, But Every Thing Goes Wrong, The Yeti Attack some Members Of The Crew And Then The Crew Take The Two Scientists As Prisoners, Then They Finally Capture The Yeti And Then The Scientists are Liberated And The Whole Crew Goes To The Town, Then One Of The Scientists Takes The Yeti To His Country And Then the Yeti Escapes...

The First Time I Saw it I Thought That This Movie Was very is Poorly Made, And It is True, You Can Say That This Movie Is A Pice of Shit, They Could Have Done Somethings Better Like:
  1. Better Plot
  2. Better Acting
  3. Better Monster (Really This Monster Is A Joke)
  4. A Better Movie!

This Is A Z-Grade B-Movie, It could Be Very Boring Sometimes especially in the last scenes.
Something I have to say is That this is one of the Worst Monsters I've Ever seen, and trust me I Have seen  a Lot! ... But The Film has A  Place in History as the First Yeti (Abominable Snow Man) Movie ever made!

I don't Recomend This Movie, although I found the first half of the Movie very entertainment, But If You Are Curious enough Or You Just Want To See The First Movie About The Yeti Give It A Watch!

2.5/10!

Killers From Space (1954) REVIEW

It Seems That Anyone That Knows About This Movie Bought The 50 Movie Pack That I Own: "Sci-Fi Classics" by Mill Creek Entertainment, Or They Watched It Online.

The Plot Couldn't Be More Cliché, The Beginning Is Stock Footage (Of Airplanes) From other Films, Then The Protagonist (Peter Graves) Crashes He's Airplane and Survives, Later He Discovers That He It's Alive Because Of Aliens and Those Aliens Want To Take Over The World And He Has To Stop Them. The Aliens have a Secret Base (Bronson Cave) where they have an Army of Giant Insects. The Insects effect aren't stop-motion or something like that, Its Just Insects on a Green Screen. Same B-Movie Stuff. The Funniest Thing In the movie are the Eyeballs of the Aliens they are just laughable!

The Movie has bad reputation, The movie is even #16 on the list of the worst movies ever made! ...But Actually when I  First Saw it, I found it to be very entertainment, I'm Not Saying That This is An Excellent Movie, Just Entertainment (In a B-Movie Way). There is not much to say just that this is an Underground Super low budget sci-fi movie from the 50's, but isn't that great? I love B-Movies and This is the perfect sample of a B-Movie.The First Time I Saw It was at 6:00am and I was kind of Tired, The Movie Had an Hypnotizing Impact On me!..

Good Cheesy Fun!

...So If You Are Curious Enough Forget The Bad Comments Or Ratings and Give It A Watch!

4.5/10!

My Definition Of "B-Movie"

Low budget movies (B-Movies) are movies made with almost nothing. They are normally Sci-Fi or Horror movies and their "Golden Age" were the 50's. While watching B-Movies you can always tell that the spaceships, monsters and stuff like that, are fake. A lot of people hate B-Movies because they are cheap-looking and sometimes boring, but I personally think that they are very creative in the use of special effects (like in Harryhausen films) and I always feel that this movies are innocent and charming.

For me, there are four types of B-Movies:
  1. The G.G.G. B-Movies (Great story, great characters and great special effects)
  2. The "Wannabe" B-Movies (Great Story, Bad Characters and Bad special effects)
  3. The Underground B-Movies (So Bad They're Good)
  4. The Z- Movies (So Bad They're Bad)
My favorite types of B-Movies are "The G.G.G" and "The Underground".

Here some examples of B- Movies:

G.G.G B-Movie -'Invasion Of The Body Snatchers'

Wannabe B-Movie -'Phantom From Space'

Underground B-Movie -'Killers From Space'

Z-Movie -'The Screaming Skull'
